It's hard for me to think of anything but Christmas in December. I love all things Christmas: The music, The smells, The foods, The lights, The cards, The Christmas movies, The Television specials, Santa Claus, The Holy Birth, Being with family, The traditions of the past, Remembering friends, and being a part of something, that is so widely celebrated. My painting palette is very different during the Christmas season. My reds are rich and vibrant, Mostly cadmium red deep and napthol crimson. My greens will be deep green permanent and cobalt green deep. I'll use rich metallic paints such as iridescent bright silver and pewter, iridescent bright gold and antique gold. Everything seems to take on a sparkle at Christmas time and every year I feel inspired to create a new painting....	"I Have Always Loved Christmas"© Acrylic 30x24 in
