"Babies n Balls"©
Acrylic 18x24 in Have you ever sat in a bucket of balls,
bouncing and rolling about?
It's not like taking a bath in suds,
getting clean and shiny.
It's bumpy and lumpy,
slippery and slidey,
Strange and peculiar,
and fun!

She's learning to perform,
with elegance and grace.
Her coach said: "don't be afraid,
for you have what it takes."
So with great perseverance,
and plenty of chalk and sweat,
she swung on the bars,
and balanced on the beam,
then with a huge flip,
landed on her feet!
