Our foxy Mom looked totally groovy,
with her bouffant flipped hair,
and her totally cool corduroy bellbottom pantsuit.
Daddy-O worked for bread while our old lady
sewed her own chintz drapes that were right on
with our gnarly orange wall-to-wall shag carpet.
It was so boss, we had a ball,
watching Laugh-in and eating TV dinners,
on our totally cool TV trays.
Now, don't have a cow, Mom,
we scarfed down your homemade potato-chip meatloaf,
and we looked like hep cats in the tie-dyed rags,
not to mention your funky home haircuts.
Now, don't flip your wig, Mom,
it was neato, it was a blast,
so, don't sweat it,
cause it's a drag when you're mad.
So get decked out in your go-go boots and mini dress,
and let's truck on over to the A & W,
where we've got dibs on some gutt waddin burgers and fries.
Now, don't put the kibosh on, it will be a gas,
Just be there or be square!!!
Later...

Theirs is a journey of life,
of love,
of commitment,
of friendship,
of understanding.
Long distance travelers,
celebrating life together.
What a concept!
