The wind is howling through
empty trees.
There's magic in the air.
A harvest moon is in the sky.
Bats are circling by.
Shiny black cats are on the prowl.
Screech owls cry: "beware"
Pumpkins glow with an eerie smile.
Skeletons rattle their bones.
It's Halloween night,
and it gives me a fright.
Ghosts and goblins are saying: "boo."
An enchanting witch is on her broom.
She'll cast a spell on you!

Give me a hug dear Grandma
Let's laugh and watch TV.
Let's paint a lovely picture,
one with you and me.
Cook for me dear Grandma,
make my favorite meal.
Then sing a song,
and I'll hum along,
of good ole days gone by.
Let's cuddle with our blankies,
and read some poetry.
of life, of love, of everything,
or maybe we'll just talk.
I know you love me Grandma,
I can feel it in my bones,
you're my refuge on a stormy night,
with you I'm not alone.
